When life gives you the opportunity to pick your own flowers, you make an arrangement, right?
A few weeks ago, I visited the stunning Mannerim Flower Farm to pick my own flowers. I first found out about Mannerim Flower Farm last year and had sadly missed picking season. So when spring came around, I new it was time to begin frolicking in flower paddocks, posing in said paddocks and basking in the glorious spring sunshine.
To visit the farm, you’ve got to keep a keen eye on the Mannerim Flower Farm Instagram, they’ll let you know when their gates are open and their blooms are ‘a ready for a pickin’. When I went it was $10 to cut ten stems, which is really affordable for super fresh flowers. The drive out to Marcus Hill isn’t too long from Melbourne either. I’ll use any excuse to blast Ariana Grande and Selena Gomez and croon all the way to my destination.
Once you’ve picked to your hearts content, swing past their little store and relax with a milkshake and enjoy the surrounds. Adrian and I drove out to Ocean Grove and sat on the beach, watched doggos and had lunch.
